As a PhD student I developed the idea of an online open-access encyclopedia of anthropology. Colleagues from the University of Cambridge and I launched the site in 2017. In 2023 colleagues from around the world and I relaunched it as the Open Encyclopedia of Anthropology (OEA). You can find it here: http://www.anthroencyclopedia.com

The OEA includes over 90 open-access entries and has been read by over half a million people around the world. It features on reading lists of the world’s leading universities, and a third of its readers are located in non-high-income countries.
